«My favourite dish.” The Present Continuous.
Мета: Активізувати вивчені лексичні одиниці, структури,
граматичний матеріал в усному та писемному мовленні; розвивати
навички непідготовленого мовлення з використанням особистого
досвіду та знань;слухову пам`ять, увагу, логічне мислення
учнів,здатність до здогадки, вміння працювати в парах та групах;
стимулювати комунікативну-пізнавальну діяльність учнів , бажання
спілкуватися англійською мовою, виховувати інтерес до культури
та традицій України та країни, мова якої вивчається.
Тип уроку: удосконалення знань,умінь,навичок.
Обладнання: тематичні малюнки, роздавальні картки, граматична таблиця.
Хід уроку.

Good morning, children. I`m very glad to see you today.
How are you ?

I`m in a good mood too. So we are ready to start our lesson.We
shall speak about food, one of the most essential part of our
life.Food gives us energy and health, helps you to grow. So, the
topic of our lesson is“ My favourite dish”. Let`s pronounce all
together. And we`ll take the motto to our lesson: “Eat the right
Food”.

Take the card №1. Let`s have some phonetic drill and role-play
this poem .First listen to it.
Pay attention to the words:
-view [ v ju:]-вид , вигляд
-stew [stju: ]-тушковані
-naughty [n o:t i ]-неслухняні
Author: Mother calls her little kids,
Mother : “ Will you help me with my deeds? “
Сhildren answer, “ We are busy.”
Mother cries, “What are you dоing?”
Children answer; ,We are moving.”
Mother:” You are naughty lasy kids,
Give the help your mother needs.”
Author :” Now it`s a happy view : “
Children : Kate is making mushroom stew;
Bill is polishing the floor ;
Paul is running to the store ;
Lis is putting on the table
Dishes with the China label.
Now they are sitting all,
Kate and Billy, Liz and Paul .
They are having tasty dinner .

I see you like different kinds of food. But : Eat the right food.
Remember the proverb « Good health is above wealth.”

Split into four groups . Reclame your dish and give the recipes.

Dear friends!
I`m going to have a holiday dinner at noon. My chef is
making his favourite dessert now/ We are waiting

Let`s visit his house.
We use Pr. Continuous Tense for something that is happening at
the time of speaking.
The time expressions : now , at the time .
Let me introduce a chef and his friends//. He has three nice caps.
Look! He is going to his friends now.
(I-am, YOU-are …)
This is his cousin- Verb ( I ) and his helper –Ing .
Example :
He is making his favourite dessert now .
You see six serving men . They help us to get a lot of
information.
A poem :
I have six honest serving men
They taught me all I knew.
Their names are What and Why and When,
And How and Where and Who.
Let`s help them to ask questions to the sentence .
3) Writing :
Take your copy-books.Write down the date and the topic of the
lesson .

Every country has its traditional dish . There are some of them in
Ukraine . What are they?
