• Perform in the position of SDPO with accountability for various duties including running deck gangs, co-ordinating
cargo planning and stowage, facilitating drills, and training new personnel.
• Responsible for the ship’s preventative maintenance plan including equipment, hull interior, and exterior.
• Relied upon to accurately plan navigational duties such as directing and managing voyage planning, routing, to
name a few.
• Partake in other Ship duties including security, security and managing the stability calculations and afloat
maintenance.
