Country Child is your local free magazine designed to offer families all the
local information they need at their fingertips.
Reaching approximately 13,000 ABC1 parents with children 0-15,
quarterly, there is no better way to target families living in the area. A good
quality, glossy magazine, which is distributed directly to parents through
schools both village primary and private, –Country Child hits the kitchen
table of the family home. It is also available via a network of village stores,
farm shops, cafeés, tourist information centres, libraries, estate agents and
selected Waitrose stores.
Over the last decade the South West has seen an influx of parents
moving out of towns and cities with the desire to bring up children in
the country. Unlike their urban counterparts, parents in the countryside
don´’t have facilities on their doorstep and sourcing them can be time
consuming. Country Child understands and reflects the needs of local
parents, from knowing what´s on locally to features on family matters,
hobbies, experiences and rural life. The magazine contains regular editorial
on the great outdoors, recipes, business insight, homes, best buys and
competitions. Local primary school children also write and submit book
reviews for Bookworms in addition to our school news updates.
Country Child also includes the sorts of things local families are looking
for –such as playgroups, holiday clubs, cafèes and where to visit on a day out
with the children.

Promotions Are charged at the normal advertising rate but the design
is styled to match the look and feel of Country Child. Clients should
provide materials for composition and are given final approval.
Production Requirements Ads must be sent as final, print ready PDFs
with all images of 300dpi high resolution in CMYK. Tiffs and JPEGs will
be placed but text can be fuzzy. We can offer in house design & layout if
you require help a minimum charge of £30 will be added.
