2. All adverts are accepted by Warwick Directories Ltd on the
understanding that they are copyright free. This includes any
images, logos, photos, trade logos, clip art or any other content
that is used in the advert. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to
acquire any necessary permissions for the use of any images, logos,
photos, trade logos, clip art or any other content that is used in their
advert/editorial/article/any other content.
It is the advertiser’s responsibility to check the advert and ensure
that it is correct at copy approval stage. No responsibility will
be taken by Warwick Directories Ltd for any errors subsequently
identified (i.e. after copy approval).
Any changes to an existing advert already placed within the
magazine must be made by the published deadline date for the
subsequent month’s magazine. No changes can be made to your
advert or booking after this date.
We do not guarantee any position in the magazines except the
premium pages (front and back).
We do not offer any exclusivity to any one particular business. There
could/will be other advertisers offering the same service as your
business.
We offer free editorial for every 6 adverts booked.
Any logos/images/photos supplied should be a minimum of 300dpi.
No responsibility can be taken for the print quality of any image/
logo/photo supplied at a lower resolution.
Any adverts supplied in JPEG, pdf or any other pre-prepared format
will be inserted into Warwick Directories Ltd as supplied and will
be assumed not to require copy approval. These files should be
supplied at a minimum of 300dpi. No responsibility can be taken for
the print quality of any advert supplied at a lower resolution. These
files may be re-sized to fit the appropriate space.
Any advert/editorial/article/design which Warwick Directories Ltd
has created cannot be used in another publication or advertising
medium (e.g. website) without the written approval of Warwick
Directories Ltd. A fee may be payable to Warwick Directories Ltd if
an advertiser wishes to re-use an advert/editorial/article/design in
this way.
Warwick Directories Ltd reserves the right to refuse/edit
advertisements at our discretion.
Warwick Directories Ltd gives no guarantee of the level of response
to adverts/editorial/articles etc.
Warwick Directories Ltd is unable to offer a refund if no responses
are received.
The distribution area of Warwick Directories Ltd may vary at the
discretion of the publisher.
Our invoice terms are 14 days unless specifically agreed otherwise.
When you book your advert you are agreeing to pay the current
advert price by the due date. In cases of overdue accounts we will
exercise our statutory rights under the Late Payment of Commercial
Debts (Interest) Act 1998. In this respect, interest at the rate of
3 per cent above base rate per 14 days period will be added,
compounded in each 14 day period on any outstanding balance
from the date of the invoice until the date of receipt of payment
in full. Also please be advised that, in accordance with European
Directive 2000/35/ec, a debt recovery fee of £40 will be charged, in
addition to any court costs incurred.
If you cancel your advertising before the end of the booking period
you will be re-invoiced for the correct amount for that number of
adverts.(i.e no long term booking discount will apply)
Advertisement bookings for one month only, must be paid for in full
upon booking by credit/debit card.
Advertisement bookings for a period of more than one month
duration, unless paid in full upon booking, are strictly first month’s
payment by credit/debit card upon booking with the remaining
payments being paid by monthly Direct Debit or recurring credit/
debit card payments.
Note: Where the term advert is used this means any advertisement,
editorial, article, or any other material (e.g. community content)
supplied for publication.
When you book an advert verbally, by post or by email you are
agreeing to all Terms and Conditions listed above.

I use the Hilton and Dove Valley Life/Littleover Life (as part of my local advertising) as it is delivered
free directly to the doors of my potential customers, and therefore, it is not left to chance that a potential
customer will buy a publication to find my advert. The advertising and delivery is all in one price, and
therefore I know exactly what I am paying for. I believe, as the magazines are now a well established,
recognised, monthly publication their familiarity with households means that they will always know
where to find me, and as with all local services, those customers will know that I am local to them,
and familiar with their area, and their needs. I have found it easy, excellent value for money, and I have
a steady stream of customers as a result of my adverts. I haven’t found anywhere that gets you 4 weeks
advertising permanently in someone’s home! That’s why I continue to advertise with the magazines.
