3. Three Main Learning Styles
What you enjoy doing determines your learning style. The majority of
the people in the world are visual learners. The second largest group
is auditory learners. The smallest group consists of kinesthetic
learners.
MOST people enjoy seeing pictures and written instructions
MANY enjoy listening to verbal instructions
SOME enjoy participating in physical activities
4. Auditory
● A learning style in which a person learns through listening.
● Auditory learners depend on listening and speaking.
● Must be able to hear in order to understand.
● Listening and repeating skills are important.
● Works well with sounds in the background help learners
● Auditory learners may like storytelling
● May move their lips or recite something to recall information
● May prefer oral exams
● Excel when reading aloud or having a discussion
5. Kinesthetic (Tactile learning)
● A learning style in which the person needs to
move around and engage with their environment
● Body needs to be doing something in order to
learn
● Use hands to produce work
● Engage in physical activity
● Use all senses to interact with surroundings

● A learning style in which a person must see
information with the eyes
● Watching a demonstration
● Reading books, maps, and/or newspapers
● Reading instructions
● Watching television
