PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Support Technical Manager
 Manager of a training center with a staff of 14 employees. Responsible for C-
17 aircraft training of foreign & domestic military aircrews. Actively manages
flight simulator training operations, maintenance, and hardware/software
configuration updates.
 Introduced into service a complete training center including government
acceptance of a Level D flight simulator.
 C-17 flight simulator instructor.
1996 – 2005 - The Boeing Company, Long Beach CA
Project Management Specialist & Customer Training Specialist
 Key member of C-17 Integrated Product Team involved in marketing,
delivering, and supporting of C-17 aircraft to international military customers.
 Developed comprehensive written safety argument document relating training
system contribution to overall aircraft system safety.
 Authored three training systems proposals in support of business
development.
 Led a training needs analysis project for the United Kingdom Royal Air Force
and their introduction into service of a new aircraft. Functioned as training
specialist on proposal development for RAF in IPT environment.
 Coordinated development of training syllabus, implementation schedule, and
facilitated liaison between USG and RAF customer.
 Extensive experience with ITAR and export control compliance.
 Made significant contributions to development and revision of company
customer training system processes.
 Successfully negotiated favorable interpretations of federal regulations with
governmental agency by conducting a scientific validation study in which

design and training costs.

Project Management Specialist & Senior Instructor
 Led cross-functional team of 20+ employees in support of international
customer business operations & training. Provided customer training to
support product sales.
 MD-11 flight training device instructor. Consistently customer-rated as one of
the top simulator instructors among a group of 25+ instructors.
 Led cross-functional IPT to put into service aircraft with foreign customers and
provided support coordination for ongoing airline operations.
 Presented original technical training paper at a national convention.
Unsolicited invitation acknowledged personal reputation for training expertise.
 As SME working closely with design engineers, designed comprehensive
CBT lesson plans and courseware using instructional systems design
processes and adult learning theory.
 Authored normal, abnormal, and emergency operating procedures for the
 MD-11 aircraft including supporting crew performance objectives. Also
authored systems description sections of the MD-11 Flight Crew Operating
Manual.

 Key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of an $18 million
turn-key customer training center in Kuwait.
 Personal advisor to the foreign customer's manager of the in-country training
center.
 Created and assisted in the day-to-day performance of the training center's
operational management plan and student master training plan.
 Developed and co-directed the program's project management plan, project
schedule, and integrated logistics support plan.
 Reviewed and approved classroom lesson plans and written training
materials.

training plans to support the development of a major aircraft program.
