the core city with Nageshwar temple road.
• The proximity of temple to the core city and
the compact settlements in the surrounding
area has made the temple lively.
• The map makes it clear that how compact
the area surrounding the temple is.
Moreover, good connectivity accounts for
the liveliness of the area.
• There are residential societies at some
distance from the temple. The residents of
these societies visit the temple regularly
which ultimately gives life to the

Issues:
• The Visual Pollution in the temple distracts the beauty of the temple and
disturbs the aesthetics .
• Parking is also one of the main issues around the temple.
• Dilapidated rooms disturb the aesthetic of monument.
• The oil from the deepamala is spread all over the floor and makes the floor
slippery and is difficult for the visitors to walk around .
Proposals:
• Library must be proposed inside the temple so that it attracts more visitors in the
temple .
• Meditation room is also proposed for old people. This will help to keep the
atmosphere great in the temple.
• Drinking water facility must be provided in needed requirement.
• Some of the Dilapidated rooms in the temple need to be renovated using same
material as not to disturb the aesthetic appeal of the structure.
• During Mahashivratri the temple is crowded, and cue line has to be given so
that crowd can be controlled easily.
• The Oil Spilled from Deepamala is to be collected in a container by giving small
creek and the that oil flowing from that creek gets collected in that container at
the end of the creek and that oil can be used for some other purpose.
• Polishing the stone Pillars in the temple.

• The Area for Library is 3m x 4m and library includes books related to spirituality
and library can generate revenue per person per month Rs 300/-
• Area for meditation room is 3m x 4m .
• Flowers being used for worshipping the deity should be segregated such that
the flowers which are used to make essence stick should be sent to an NGO to
manufacture the essence sticks.
• As we have seen in the land use map the surrounding area is more residential
so that this can help library to generate more revenue.
