the consumers attention. In my magazine I plan to use one that

magazine.

I have tried to come up with some different contents page plans as I
am not completely sure on how I want it to look. I plan to make a
decision when I produce more detailed mock ups of this page.

6. Reader
Profile
My Target audience is a Black Male in his 20’s. He wears plain t-
shirts, hooded jumpers and baggy low riding jeans. He wears long
gold necklaces with some sort of large, iconic pendant. He wears
an expensive gold watch and a gold ring. He also wears a flat cap
that suits his outfit. He listens to Gangster rap and follows the
three aspects of the stereotypical gangster – Sex, Drugs and
Money.

7. Pitch
“Dun Kno” is a new magazine aimed at mostly males in their 20’s. Readers are likely to be
Black males who are currently college educated or have been college educated.
It will cover all aspects of the Hip Hop genre that are current in the present day. It will
include articles on rappers lives and performances as well as Hip Hop events and news to
do with this particular genre.
It will be in style with the Hip Hop genre with the right colours that reflect masculinity and
photography that is of high quality. The text will be evenly rationed to the photography to
provide a balance to satisfy all readers.
The example double page spread will be a review of an artist consisting of live
performances that they have recently done and a review of their life at this time.
