Objectives
To provide excellent nutritional education, counseling, and resources to patients and clients with varying levels of

Western Human Nutrition Research Center November, 2015 - Present

• Volunteering to aid in the production of science based nutrition research for the USDA by preparing, stocking,
creating, packaging and administering food, drinks and meals to study participants
Sacramento Naturopathic Medical Center Volunteer November, 2015 – December, 2015
• Worked on a collaborative nutrition analysis and menu development project with Dr. Dennis Godby
Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services;
Parent Education Program Intern/Volunteer June, 2015 – August, 2015
• Prepared, created and presented educational workshops/classes on breastfeeding and baby cues to low income

dietitian; pulling and filling charts; printing, and copying.

• Completed a post-partum doula course at Birthingway, College of Midwifery, in Portland, Oregon (March, 2011).

Davis, California for education at UC Davis.
• Services included educating and supporting the mothers in breast feeding and lactation, aiding in the training of
breast-milk bottle feeding, sleep training, teaching and using “baby sign language” before speech began to
develop, taking the children to music and reading classes, incorporating and encouraging “baby-lead weaning”
techniques.
