u Introduction
u Teachers will be shown an introductory video
u Teachers will discuss how they can use Edmodo within their very own
classrooms.
u PowerPoint will be shown from the Edmodo website
u Set-Up
u Teachers will be walked through the process of setting up an Edmodo
account.
u Instructor will facilitate as teachers sign up for Edmodo, instructions will be
on a power point.
u Once signed in, the instructor will do a walk-through of the page to familiarize
teachers with it.
u Instructor will show teachers how to set up their profile, printouts will be
given with instructions.
u After, instructor will show teachers how to get their students set up,
further instructions will be given.
u Instructor will show how to set up parents with instructions.

5. u Creating an Edmodo
u Instructor will now allow teachers to “play” around on Edmodo.
u Teachers will have to create a post, group, quiz, and an assignment on their
page.
u Teachers will present what they have created and how they figured out how
to do it.
u Grading in Edmodo
u Instructor will show teachers how to grade a quiz or an assignment that was
given.
u Instructor will show teachers how quickly feedback can be given on each
assignment.
u Student responses to assignments are recorded and students “gradebook”
updates after answers are checked.
u Edmodo Community
u Instructor will show teachers the Edmodo Communities page.
u Teachers will be allowed to join different communities based on the
subjects they teach.
u Allow teachers to search through a community and find an idea the would
take and utilize in their classroom.

u Instructor will show teachers Edmodo Library where files can be uploaded
to share with their students.
u Instructor will show teachers Apps that can be downloaded for students to
use while in Edmodo
