Bold faith 20
- 1. Bold Faith by Robert Woeger
God responds to and rewards faith. People in The Bible demonstrated faith in God in bold and peculiar ways.
Bold faith means holding onto God’s Promises no matter what people or the circumstances are saying to you.
When you have faith, you have an assurance from God that the situation will change no matter what you see.
It is choosing to believe in God’s Ability, rather than in the report of man, the world, the devil, or your flesh.
It is acknowledging your own frailties and limitations, and trusting in The Lord with all your heart and soul,
completely and totally relying on Him, and Him Alone, instead of on self-sufficiency. “Trust in the LORD
with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and
he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6. Sin is when you stop depending on God and become independent
from God, depending on your self, or your circumstances. Fear, the enemy of faith, tries to get you to please
people instead of pleasing God. When you replace God as your source, you put something or someone else
up as a god over your life, depriving God of the recognition of His Authority, Holiness, Honor, and Majesty.
Many people compromise their faith, allowing a person or thing to have control over them in place of God.
Have faith with humility. “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10.
“...be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves
therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” 1 Peter 5:5-6. “Thou wilt keep
him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3. “...Walk in
the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16. “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”
2 Corinthians 5:7. “...whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” Romans 14:23. “In every thing give thanks: for this
is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Always be led by The Holy Spirit,
asking Him to help you repent of, and renounce, all sins and evil covenants you and your ancestors agreed to.
Once your sins and evil covenants have been forgiven, through The Blood Of Jesus Christ, freedom and faith
will be able to take root in your life in a deep and powerful way, due to the cleansing nature of Jesus’ Blood.
“...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the
race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set
before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:1-2. You must learn how to receive by faith all things that Christ has already provided for you.
Stop trying to be independent from God. “Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27. Do not allow sin
or anxiety to reign. “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall
keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7. Faith in God will bring peace, hope,
and joy. It will displace fears and anxiety. Walk out your Salvation in love and joy, always reverencing God.
Stop looking at the world, or your past failures. “Let not your heart be troubled...” John 14:1. Look to Jesus!
Speak and declare the finished work of Jesus into your situation and your life, allowing Christ’s Resurrection
Power to impact and change the circumstances. Walk by faith, and not by what you see. Ask The Holy Spirit
to teach, comfort, and help you. “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Philippians 2:5.
Continually renew your mind with God’s Word. Refuse to accept any negative words or statements as facts.
Speak what God Said! Do not agree with the world. Anything not of faith is sin and is walking by your sight.
Receive The Mind Of Christ, instead of the devil’s lies. What you think, you will become. See Proverbs 23:7.
“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” John 15:26. The Holy Spirit testifies of Jesus’s Victory.
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall
glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:13-14. All things are possible.
