In the past, education involved students living at ashrams where gurus taught life skills without textbooks or syllabi. Twenty years ago, education relied on books and lectures while today it uses technology like iPads and websites. The role of teachers has changed from imparting knowledge to building student personality and teaching skills, while using technology to make learning more engaging. Learners now attend online classes and complete work digitally due to the pandemic, showing how technology has transformed education.

2. ❖ There is a many Difference in the Method of the teaching in the
PAST AND PRESENT….
❖ As I said about the Ancient time it was like the SHISHYA have to go
to the ASHRM and stay there to take VIDHYA…there were not the
use of books or Syllabus. Guru Taught them the life style and
different Skills as well.
❖ Twenty years ago, education was based on books and lectures,
now, it's iPads and websites. In the past, students would have to
spend hours in libraries looking through books for a project or
research. ... One major difference that has changed through the
curriculum in schools is teaching students skills instead of content.

5. ❖ The role of teacher in modern educational system is not
only imparting merely knowledge to students but also, as
a real architect of new generation, responsible to build
personality of modern citizens. It requires passion,
patience, expertise on certain subject and enough ability
to understand the role of teacher, the styles of teaching,
teaching methodologies and strategies, correct usage of
evaluation techniques and the psychology of the students
as well as the ability to motivate the students.

used in handling information, its application and association with social, economic and
cultural matters (UNESCO, 2002). ICT stands for Information and Communication
Technologies. ICT is a part of our lives for the last few decades affecting our society as well
as individual life. ICT which is now broadly used in educational world. Teacher, Student,
administrator and every people related to education are popularly used ICT.
❖ Teacher use ICT for making teaching learning process easy and interesting. A competent
teacher has several skills and techniques for providing successful teaching. So
development and increase of skills and competencies of teacher required knowledge of
ICT and Science & Technology. In modern science and technological societies education
demands more knowledge of teacher regarding ICT and skills to use ICT in teaching –
learning process.
❖ Now – adays ICT‟s are transforming schools and classrooms a new look by bringing in new
curriculum based on real world problems, projects, providing tools for enhancing learning,
