2. Audience Feedback
Once our final A2 project
was finished we shared the
result with our peers and any
other audience (preferably
the target audience). This
was done so that we could
gather up audience
feedback of our work. We
did this by producing
questionnaires both online
and hardcopies and getting
people to fill them out. After
gathering up our audience
feedback we were able to
realise what worked well and
what did not.
3. Audience Feedback
The questionnaires featured questions such as;
* If any, what is your favorite chocolate and why?
* Would you consider purchasing this chocolate, if so, was this
decision influenced by the advertisements shown and why?
We asked these questions to find out what our target audience
wants and to see what works well with our advertisements as
well as what does not. Our founding’s revealed a variety of
answers .

The feedback we got from our first T.V advertisement
was that the advertisement was effective at
“demanding the audience’s attention from the get
go”. This was due to the fast paste editing and snappy
engaging dialogue between characters.
We also got positive feedback regarding the camera
angles and movements with this ad. Specifically the
bird’s eye view shot, the pan around the table at each
character and the multiple close ups and extreme
close ups of the chocolate.
The negative feedback we got for this ad was that it
“seemed like a sequel” by this comment I assume our
mistake was making the ad a little too vague, almost
as though it was a continuation of another ad. To
correct this mistake the next time around we could
create less of a story with the ad, or perhaps make the
whole ad a more like a shorter story.

The second ad had more positive feedback regarding the
actual plot, we had comments like “it was similar to the
plot of a real advertisement” I think this is because we
took more inspiration from other ads. The negative
feedback we got regarding the second ad was that there
were technical issues such as the lighting and the “glaring
on the camera”. This was a big issue on which we received
a lot of constructive criticism. Looking back on the ad I
would have changed this by perhaps closing the curtain to
reduce the light and therefore the glaring on the camera,
this would also have created a more professional finish.
