The Japanese and Australian Student Society (JASS) welcomes Japanese exchange students and local Australian students to join their events in 2011 to foster cross-cultural relationships and share interests in Japanese language and culture. Their events include a welcome BBQ, sushi night, tea ceremony demonstration, and classes on Japanese language and culture. Students who join JASS can attend events to collect a membership card and connect on Facebook or the group's website.
