Email has become so ubiquitous to our lives, we don’t even realize we’re using it most of the time. Tell story about speaking to college students, adamant that they don’t use email. Who go on to explain the only time they ever engage with email is when they get a notification from Facebook. Or a promotional email from a brand they really like. Or an offer forwarded to a friend. Or notice of advance tickets to a concert. Or the newsletter from their favorite content site. Or…the list goes on. Usually ends with, “but I’m immune to email offers. I don’t respond to them.”
