There are two major maintenances performed on computers;
Preventive- Maintenance performed on equipment are not necessarily when
they are faulty but to make sure breakdowns are minimized. It involves
changes made to a system to reduce the chance of future system failure
Corrective - diagnosing and fixing errors, possibly ones found by users
