To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to strongly recommend Ms. Kelly Sams for a position at your company. I have worked with
Kelly since September of 2014. I believe that she would be highly qualified for this position, and that her
experience, intelligence, and disposition make her an excellent fit.
Kelly does very well under pressure, and is flexible and adaptive. When I first began with ELS, her desk
was in a common area of the main office, which was where an administrative assistant would normally
sit. I was very impressed with the amount of student traffic that she received, and that she was able to
stay calm, focused, and polite in spite of the chaos, and still get her job done, and done well. She keeps
a sense of humor during stressful times, and has a very calm disposition. The students respond well to
her friendly and calm disposition, and they all trust her and rely upon her heavily.
Kelly is also bright, logical, and a natural problem-solver. She always uses all the resources at her
disposal to solve a problem, and is very self-sufficient. She views solving a problem positively, and as a
challenge. Usually, by the time she comes to me with a problem, she also already has logical and
appropriate ideas for a proposed solution. I am always impressed by how well she knows all parts of her
job, and many parts of the other center positions as well. She has helped me immensely in learning my
new position of center director, and I am very grateful for her assistance and expertise.
Finally, Kelly has a great work ethic. She does what she needs to in order to get her job done. She does
not require close supervision, and she can always be counted on. When she is at work, she is 100% on
task and always very productive.
In sum, Kelly is a wonderful employee, and I truly believe that her ability to manage stressful situations,
to multi-task, to stay composed, and to deal with anything that is thrown at her will be a terrific asset to
your team.
Respectfully,
Anne Baker
Center Director
