To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Traci Cremeans. Ms. Cremeans
has worked under my supervision as a trusted substitute teacher for the past year. I can attest to
her work ethic, intellectual capability, and responsibility and initiative.
As you can imagine, the job of a substitute teacher is by no means an easy one. And finding
capable substitute teachers – who can single-handedly manage a classroom of teenagers, whom
they do not know, fulfill instruction and curriculum expectations, and ensure that all the required
procedurals task are being adhered to – is quite rare. That is why when I have a difficult
substitute assignment to fill, such as a challenging class of students or one of my teachers has
taken ill and I am in need of a capable long-term substitute who can step in for a long-term
assignment, Ms. Cremeans is the first person I think of.
Ms. Cremeans is that rare combination of self-starter and team-player. She takes initiative, but
can also follow directions. You can set her on a task with minimal description, and she will
always come back having completed it exactly as you had envisioned and even one better. She is
a creative out of the box thinker, but also is respectful of format, traditions and operational
procedures. Finally, Ms. Cremeans is highly computer literate, able to manage several of the
systems and programs we use her in our building.
Ms. Cremeans has an outstanding personality marked by both a quiet confidence and a
willingness to step in to lend a hand. She is pleasant, cooperative, and kind.
I cannot say enough positive things about Ms. Cremeans, as she is one of the most outstanding
people I have had the pleasure to supervisor. I am certain you will feel the same way about her.
I recommend her to your with the utmost confidence.
Sincerely,
Dr. Donna Risolo
