Due to a change in my husband’s career we have recently relocated to the Fort Worth area. I have significant experience
in the hospital settings of Med/Surg and ER. I also have experience working in various doctors’ offices and most recently
have been employed as a School Nurse. I have almost 8 years of experience in providing a high-levelof acute and long-
term care to patients.
In my roles as a Med/Surg and ER nurse I was responsible for accurate and timely nursing care ranging in acuity from
high to moderate. I have been an active member of a Code Team in my previous position as LVN for the past 4 years and
have gained valuable hands on experience in this role. As a School Nurse I was responsible for providing specialized
nursing care for severe and profoundly handicapped children. My duties included tracheostomy suctioning and
maintenance,medication administration, Peg-tube feedings,and extensive nursing documentation. Working in Doctors’
offices and clinics I gained valuable experience with immunizations and maintenance of chronic disease processes.
