APPEAR FIRST). BLOG CONTENT IS OFTEN REFERRED TO AS ENTRIES OR “BLOG POSTS”.

WEBSITE?
• blogs are updated on a regular basis with new content while websites are static in
nature where content is organized in pages, and they are not updated frequently.
• A blog can be more of an informal type while a website is more formal and
professional.

3. WHAT IS A COMMENT?
• In computer programming, a comment is a programmer-readable explanation or
annotation in the source code of a computer program. They are added with the
purpose of making the source code easier for humans to understand, and are
generally ignored by compilers and interpreters.
• A comment is a remark or observation that expresses a person's observation or
criticism.
• Blog comments can be an indicator of how effective a blog post is,
• It's also a way for visitors to interact socially and get answered questions they might
have about what written.

BLOGGING AND JOURNALISM?
• with blogging people tend to offer more opinion and analysis that links to news
stories reported by mainstream media while professional journalist tend to
gather and report facts and opinion from expert source.
• The art of journalism requires that the journalist finds a fact or premise
determine the veracity of that fact or premise by verifying it with different sources
before reporting it and attributing to it. With blog there is no such requirement or
expectation with it.

• It is optional, it’s up to a person to make his or her blog a business or a hobby.

• A permalink or permanent link is the address (URL) of a web page. It is called
permanent link because it’s not expected to change throughout the life time of a
page.
• It should start with https – This indicates that the webpage is secure, which
means that any information transmitted between the web browser and web server
is encrypted.
• It should be short and descriptive – A permalink should be short without having
unnecessary information but at the same time, it should describe what a page is
about.

• A blogroll is a list of blogs, usually placed in the sidebar of a blog, that reads as a
list of recommendations by the blogger of other blogs.
