Narrative Report
(April 30,2022)
Last April 30, 2022, we have tackled about Project Proposal Writing Module
where it all is all about Implementing of Community Immersion that we have been
currently planning or making. She discussed on how project planning must be done and
as soon as we have identified our project plan, it is prudent that we also have inventory of
our resources in conducting such immersion. For it is a fundamental to do. Afterwards,
she ask how was it going on choosing a certain community will it be fit in conducting a
community immersion. It is very important to have a thoroughly project planning since it
a basis or a guideline for us on how to facilitate work for the implementation. Project
proposal serves as a database in making reports as a requirement to the course. It also
makes work easier for us to start on implementing a community immersion for we have
gathered enough information for research work.
She then discussed the parts of project proposal which it must starts on a title.
Title on what you want to implement in the preferred community. This must be catchy to
the readers that it also connects to the clientele of the project. To be followed by its
proponents, implementers, its duration, objectives of the project, project description,
background of the project, justification, benefits, coverage, methodology, detailed
budgetary requirements, and lastly, detailed schedule of activities. This will show as the
guide for CWTS facilitator and the CWTS students in designing a program for the
recipients in the adapted community. It will serve as ready source of data as reference for
trainees to give the right information needed for the project.
For projects to be successful they need to be monitored and evaluated efficiently.
Our NSTP Instructor discussed us on how we are being monitored and evaluate. This is
to ensure that the objectives of the NSTP-CWTS are achieved and is also used to improve
the program. On the other hand, it is considered as an evaluating technique because it
able to provide required project proposal that is important in assessing a community
immersion. It is very essential to monitor whether the activities were conducted as
scheduled; and whether the outputs were produced on time or outputs were in right
quantity and quality as specified on the project design. In making the monitoring plan,
specific activities in the implementation of the project are essentially identified as basis
of specifying the detailed schedule of the project.
Lastly, the Documentation and Presentation of NSTP Project for the Community
Immersion. These serves as a proof that projects are conducted with the notes and
observations being recorded as guidelines for future program like the NSTP. Also serves
as references for trainees information/source data for requirements; rating of student’s
trainees performance growth ‘monitoring and evaluation purposes and evidence for the
support it extends in helping strengthens the extensions service or community outreach
institutions. In conducting immersion, one must document picture if possible, give
examples, don’t presume to assume, and anticipate problems. We must follow the
requirements and guidelines that must be done in conducting a community immersion to
have a successful community immersion.
