Utthita Parsvakonasana(Extended Side Angle Pose) is done from tadasana by stepping the feet 4-4.5 feet apart. Exhale and turn one leg 90 degrees while stretching the other out straight. Bend the bent knee to form a right angle with the thigh parallel to the floor. Place the hand of the same side on the floor by the foot while stretching the other arm over the ear. The body forms a straight line with the chest lifted and back stretched.
