Karen E. Fryer is a licensed social worker with over 30 years of experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals, and private practice. She currently serves as the Director of Resident Services at The Methodist Home of D.C., where she manages the psychosocial needs of assisted living residents, staff, and families. Previously, she held roles such as Care Services Manager, Director of Social Services, and Social Work Manager. Fryer is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and other professional organizations. She has received recognition such as the Yvonne Glider Scholarship Award and Providence Hospital Mission Award.

Assurance Activities. Supervised one Social Worker, provided liaison to
community agencies.

Responsible for the implementation of residential care program for 14
adolescent mothers and their newborn to toddler age children.
Supervised seven Program staff, provided in-service education, time card
completion, report preparation for individualized client staffing reports.
