SONY (NOVEMBER 2012 – CURRENT) PROJECT: GLOBAL WEB TRANSFORMATION (AGILE) CLIENT: SONY
INFORMATION SYSTEMS EUROPE / SONY CORP. US
The Global Web Transformation project aims to improve Sony’s competitiveness online and improve
efficiency of the content creation and maintenance processes by consolidating the web marketing platforms
from different regions into one global system.
The project plans to implement this system using an agile development technique, instead of the waterfall
model, which is traditionally used at Sony. The desired system functionality will be divided into pieces of
work that can be implemented within a sprint. These pieces of work are referred to as sub features. The
project has been split in waves, on a regional basis and each wave will consist of a number of releases. Each of
these releases will consist of a number of sprints. Each sprint will develop a number of sub features.
ROLE: Program Manager / Project Manager (team size 25 persons)
• Monitor the test teams progress at all intermediate milestones and ensure project is on track.
• Being an escalation point for any test related issues within the portfolio.
• Participate in prioritization workshop meetings
• Produce SLA (Service Level Agreement) documents for every quarter
• Ensure that all test deliverables (as agreed with stakeholders) are reviewed to ensure adherence to
the relevant standards, procedures, techniques and coverage targets specified in the Test Strategy.
• Gap Analysis (Identifying Gaps between requirements and Functional Design documents)
• Providing regular updates on the testing status on the Bi-Weekly Call with Sony Europe team
• Produce comprehensive reports (like Monthly Work Status Report, Monthly Billing Report, Endure
Weekly Status Report, Iteration wise Status Report, Monthly Production Tickets RCA Report ,
Monthly QA Metrics Report, Bi-Weekly Status Report,) for both internal consumption and the
customer
• Produce and review monthly metrics for tracking the project and ensure productivity, schedule and
defect parameters are in control and improving.
• Conduct internal scrum, defect triage, retrospective & knowledge sharing meetings
• Coordinate test activities with various groups (Development, Infrastructure, etc.) and secure test
environments in advance.

Lorenzo product as a whole is divided into several modules called Deployment Units. Each deployment unit
constitutes several care activities and subsequent features. Each work package team has a business analyst,
team of developers and a team of testers. The business analyst prepares the scope and functional design
documents, and the subsequent test cases are prepared by the testing team. The testing involves the normal
SDLC process but the concept of Multi-disciplinary team model is followed wherein the business analysts,
development team and the testing team work together.
ROLE: Associate DU Test Manager
• Monitor the test teams progress at all intermediate milestones and ensure project is on track.
• Produce comprehensive Test Plan / Strategies
• Manage the overall test plan, integrating all team plans and consolidating information at the test
organization level.
• Produce Traceability matrix using DOORS and Quality Center
• Being an escalation point for any test related issues within the portfolio.
• Ensure that all test deliverables (as agreed with stakeholders) are reviewed to ensure adherence to
the relevant standards, procedures, techniques and coverage targets specified in the Test Strategy.
• Gap Analysis (Identifying Gaps between requirements and Functional Design documents)

team
• Produce comprehensive reports (like Issue Status Report, Daily Test Metrics Report, Weekly Status

PROJECT: LORENZO REGIONAL CARE (RELEASE 2) CLIENT: NHS UK
Lorenzo product can be customized to market specific or customer specific solutions based on the
requirements for that market or customer. Not all the features of the product need to be delivered as a
solution. The requirement of a particular solution is analyzed and the product features that support that
particular solution is taken into account and a solution for a particular customer is built. Solution team since
it is a co-allocation model constitutes the business analyst who defines the scope, a team of developers and a
team of testers. Here the solution development team consumes the product and customizes the product
according to the requirements of the solution. The testing team writes the business process test scripts of a
particular solution and the same is executed.

LORENZO Regional Care is iSOFT’s strategic offering as an enterprise solution for large integrated healthcare
economies which comprise natural health communities in which patient flows take place in pursuit of single
treatment pathways or which are managed to some extent and at some point in the hierarchy as a single
entity.

Lorenzo is a suite, where the Products like iCM (iSoft Clinical Manager), iPM (iSoft Patient Manager, Synergy,
iIE (iSoft Integration Engine) are incorporated to be used at Primary Care and Secondary Health Care Centers
in UK, by maintaining a centralized DB.
ROLE: Test Lead
PROJECT: ICM (ISOFT CLINICAL MANAGER) (P1R1) CLIENT: NHS UK
iCM can be expanded as iSOFT Clinical Manager which is to provide support and service to Health care
professionals ie, care providers. Primary client to iCM is NHS, UK through Accenture and CSC.The features of
iCM are HL7 complaint, it supports both single database system and distributed database system etc., it has
been marketed and moved on to production in most of the UK, Australian hospitals. iCM is professional care
takers (doctors, nurses, GP etc.,) tool so iCM supports visit maintenance, order placement, report generation,
results viewing, observation patient history etc., since it is an HL7 complaint we can process a patient’s
record which is entered in a third party HL7 complaint application, thus it provides compatibility with other
third party application(s). The advantage of iCM is its architecture and its customizable features allows us to
place components in a form as needed, and user access rights etc.,

BOTREE SOFTWARE INTERNATIONAL (AUGUST 2001 – MARCH 2004) PROJECT: SWING CLIENT: PNG
The Distributor Automation System has the following modules: Masters including Customer Master, Product
Register, Distributor Sales Executive Register, Sales Team Leader Register, Key Accounts Manager Register,
Initiatives Master, Claim Master, Supplier Register, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable which includes
Sales Order Entry, Collection and Credit Memo, Inventory, Financial Accounting, Target Analysis, BIZ
Planning, Consolidation Module, Branch Integration Module etc. The software automates the operations of
the PNG Distributor. They can upload there information like Sales, Inventory and Market Credit to their
respective Head Quarters and across the website. Company can view their information as per required
format.

The requirement of a particular solution is analyzed and the product features that support that particular solution is taken into account and a solution for a particular customer is built. Solution team since it is a co-allocation model constitutes the business analyst who defines the scope, a team of developers and a team of testers. Here the solution development team consumes the product and customizes the product according to the requirements of the solution. Primary client to iCM is NHS, UK through Accenture and CSC.The features of iCM are HL7 complaint, it supports both single database system and distributed database system etc., it has been marketed and moved on to production in most of the UK, Australian hospitals. iCM is professional care takers (doctors, nurses, GP etc.,) tool so iCM supports visit maintenance, order placement, report generation, results viewing, observation patient history etc., since it is an HL7 complaint we can process a patient’s record which is entered in a third party HL7 complaint application, thus it provides compatibility with other third party application(s).
