Afterthinkingaboutwhatpicture Iwantedtouse for Photoshop,goingalongwiththe theme of
fire safetyformyunitplan,I decidedtocreate a dog that resembledSparkythe Fire Dog. First,I picked
out whatDalmatianI wantedtouse from google,then IopeneditupontoPhotoshop. Afteropeningit
on Photoshop,Ihadto choose the transparentbackground. I outlinedthe dogwiththe color
replacementbrush. Next,Ithoughtof whatI wantedthe backgroundto be. I founda fieldthatthe dog
couldbe sittingon,witha sky inthe background. AfterI uploadedthe sky,Ihadto right clickthe layer
of the picture,thenchoose the firstchoice,blendingoptions. Imovedthe underlyinglayerall the way
downto zeropercent,makingthe dogvisible ontopof the field. Lastly,Ipickedafire fighterhatthat
wentwiththe theme of Sparkythe Fire Dog. I had to change the image size of the hat so itfitthe
picture andfiton top of the dogsheadby goingto the top of the page andhitting‘image’then the sixth
choice ‘image size’. Since the hatwasso big,I changedthe widthandthe heightabouthalf of what it
was before. Afterfiddlingaroundwithitfora while,itfinallylookedpresentable.
