2. FAST GENERATION COMPUTER (1945-1956)
Fast generation computers are used vacuum tubes and basic electronic
equipment . They are extremely large in size . The were expensive too .
Machine language was used in the computer.
3. • SECOND GENERATION COMPUTER (1956-1963)
• Second generation computers were used transistors in the place of
vacuum tubes . Transistors are more compact than vacuum tubes .
Programming language are used in this computer.
4. • THIRD GENERATION COMPUTER (1964-1971)
• Third generation computers were used integrated circuits in the place
of transistors . This integrated circuits is called CHIPS. This chips are
more compact than Transistors . By using this chips computer became
smaller .
5. • FOURTH GENERATION COMPUTER (1971-
Present)
• Fourth generation computers used very strong integration system. For
using this computers get very small shape . One the other hand
computer become faster . This also helps decrease the price of
computer .
6. • FIFTH GENERATION COMPUTER (1997-……)
• Fifth generation computer is used in parallel processing system and
superconductor . It support voice recognition . It has also different
kinds of sensors . It understand natural language .
