A Narrative Report on the SLAC ON THE CONDUCT OF TEST ITEM ANALYSIS
Our School (Lale Elementary School) conducted a SLAC about Test Item Analysis.
The SLAC started with a prayer and followed with singing of Philippine National
Anthem through multi-media presentations. The opening remarks was given by our School
Head Ma’am Amie C. Cabigcabig. While the attendance Recognition was facilitated by Ma’am
Roca Joyce C. Permejo, our kindergarten Adviser. And the aforementioned activity was
facilitated by our School Head.
She discussed on how and when to accomplished the Test Item Analysis. She
mentioned in her discussion that Item Analysis was intended to assess and improve the
reliability of the tests. If test reliability is low, test validity will necessarily also be low. So also
said that, this was the ultimate reason why teachers do the test item analysis – to improve
the validity of the test by improving its reliability.
After the discussion, the participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and to
give reactions in relation to the topics discussed. And the speakers were very much willing to
answer their questions.
The activity ended at exactly 4:00 PM in the afternoon. All-important topics was
discussed.

 Item Analysis is intended to assess and improve the
reliability of your tests.
RESULT: This activity is very gainful and all-important topics is tackled.
