A paragraph is a group of related sentences that develops a single main idea. Paragraphs are differentiated from other fragments by having a first line indent and capitalizing the first word. There are several types of paragraphs including argumentative, descriptive, narrative, comparative, chronological, cause-effect, deductive, and inductive paragraphs. The concluding paragraph types are in conclusion and closing paragraphs, which express the closing of a topic by rounding up the general idea and providing a summary.

2. What is a paragraph?
A paragraph is defined as a group of related sentences in
which one single, main ideas is developed. Is
differentiated from the rest of fragments by a point and
apart and by having capital letter at the beginning.

4. Types of paragraph
Argumentative: It seeks to convince the receiver about
something that is denied or affirmed.
Descriptive: describes an object, person
or event.

5. Narrative: present facts or actions occurred in an orderly
manner.
Comparative: presents similarities and differences
between two or more objects, events, or any
phenomenon.

6. Chronological: it expresses the order in which a series of
events happened.
Cause - effect: presents a fact and its consequences.
Example: a young man with high alcohol consumption
(cause) decided to drive his father's car, but lost control of
the vehicle in a curve and hit a tree (effect)

7. Deductive: the main idea is placed at the beginning and
then developed.
Inductive: The main idea is placed at the end. In these
cases specific cases are used to arrive at a
generalization that concludes what was affirmed.

8. In conclusion: expresses the closing of a certain topic.
Closing: round the general idea of the text and a summary
of this.
