• Independently responsibility for over 160,000 sq. ft. of 2 floors of office space.
Including interior, exterior, roof and 9 acres of land around building.
• Provide job scope to potential contractors then acquire bids and proposals for all
work to be performed, most recently; large scale covered parking 700+ spaces,
exterior painting of entire building and water softener system.
• Managing in a Superintendent and Mechanical lead capacity, all work done without
corporate supervision, reporting to regional VP of facilities.

• Work with building, fire and city inspectors to insure new construction and current
building is properly kept in compliance and new work is completed within specs.

• Maintain Steam Boilers, Plate and frame, and tube and shell heat exchangers,
Building steam system, hot water and chilled water pumps including the rebuilding
of all mentioned equipment. Operate Building Management System with integrated
Siemens controls to remotely control VFD, solenoid valves and low voltage systems.
• Relied upon by guests and fellow team members, occupying over 3000 rooms and
almost 7,000,000 sq. ft. of floor space to keep the overall environment functional,

• Installation of commercial boilers, water heaters, water storage tanks, pumps, valves
and controls successfully on a regular basis. Inspected and operated equipment to
determine accuracy of installation.
• Familiar with all major brands of sealed combustion, down fired, fire tube, water
tube, flex tube, multi-pass and atmospheric boilers. Brands including Raypak,
Lochinvar, Aerco, Webster, Grundfos, Goulds, Bryan etc. Power plant and industrial
shut down work done at various industrial sites, power generation plants, such as the
Department of Energy, Nevada Test Site.
• Interpreted mechanical diagrams drawings and schematics provided to ensure proper
installation of all types of boilers, wiring, piping (gas and liquid), pumps and controls.
Tested equipment, diagnosed malfunctions and corrected problems by applying
knowledge of boilers and hydronic systems of steam and water.
3. Tucson Electric Power (Coal Fired Power Plant) - Maintenance Mechanic 2 -
Springerville, AZ
February 2009 – August 2012
• Maintained all aspects of a 1560 total mw, 4 unit power plant including pumps,
cooling towers, piping, valves (pneumatic and manual), pressure vessels, tanks, pump
and motor alignments’, mechanical seals, valve packing.
• Safety trained and certified on site regularly for equipment operation, life safety,
respirators fit and proper PPE per OSHA and MSHA regulations. I have been a
volunteer safety committee member and head of 2 sub-committees.
• Depended upon to make sure everything worked on, inspected or started up is done
with precision and a level of competence and knowledge that will ensure the work
done exceeds expectation and proper operation and within warranty specs.
• Regularly trained on old and new equipment to make sure we have the latest
information available for proper maintenance and operation.
Perini Building Company – Superintendent for Project City Center – Las Vegas NV
November 2007 – February 2009
• Lead as the Podium Superintendent at the Vdara tower, at the City Center project
which is the mezzanine level and primary guest level and lobby.
• Key rolls in the design and fit of the mechanical systems. HVAC, hydronic’s and
auto CAD projections all while staying within state and city code standards.
• Responsibilities included daily reports, working closely with management, senior
superintendents, designers, vendors, owners and executives, inspectors, subordinates
and various trade subcontractors that required proper communication and handling.
• Residential room superintendent, this responsibility was added to my work load
when management decided I freed up enough time on my regular schedule. I was in
charge of room build out, from start to finish for levels 4 to the top including the
suite levels.
Ledcor Construction – Commercial Superintendent – Las Vegas, NV
April 2006 – November 2007
• Superintendent on a $15,000,000 project with nine individual ground up buildings,
which were located on twelve acres in North Las Vegas. Each building consisted of
underground, MEP's, masonry, structural steel, wood framing, etc. all leading up to a
turn key finished product, from beginning dirt work, to final paint and punch list.
The site started with underground mechanical piping and electrical, foundations,
stem walls, steel erection, roofing, curbing, sidewalk, asphalt, striping, landscape, a
stamped concrete courtyard, on and off site ties in's and changes resulting in a 100%
turn key product with owner approval. All of which was solely my responsibility.
4. TBL Construction – Commercial Superintendent – Las Vegas, NV
November 2004 – April 2006
• Involved in a fast paced commercial remodel at the M.G.M Emerald Tower
(partnered with Perini building projects) requiring team work and time dedication.

• Controlled scheduling for a variety of sub contractors to ensure proper timing of up
to 18 different trades at any given time. Motivated and pushed trades with positive
reinforcement to achieve company goals such as being ahead of schedule while
maintaining a quality product.
• Supervised a $500,000 project at Bally’s building a storage facility from the ground
up. Supervised a $700,000 internal remodel at Mandalay Bay Resorts. As well as
approximately 6 other T.I. type jobs have been completed ranging from $10,000 to
$250,000 at Mandalay Bay and Luxor Hotel..
Allied Building Craft – Multi-Trade Residential Superintendent– Las Vegas, NV
2004- 2005
• Inspected and observed each trade to determine accuracy of plan reading and
installation of material according to specifications, to meet schedules and within
budget. Interpreted building plans to ensure proper installation of drywall, lath,
stone, windows and applications of plaster and paint. Coordinated all multi-trade
scheduling for Lath, Plaster, Scaffold, Drywall, Paint, Windows, Insulation and Stone
between inspections and walk dates.
• Walked job projects with city inspectors and building general Forman to identify any
code violations. Ensured that all procedures were Followed all Quality Assurance
programs set in place by Allied Building Crafts and each building Contractor
followed in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency and SWPPP.
