CILIP sub-branches support continuing professional development through learning as part of a community. They create opportunities for collaboration, such as Brighton Library Teach Meet. Visits to other parts of the profession, like a recent trip by some members to a prison library, can provide a different view. Sub-branches also support online networking. Working within a sub-branch team provides valuable experience.
