Personal statement
A hard working, self motivated and focused individual, who is able to work independently
and equally capable of working with others. Entrusted with confined space permits and
documentation control. I am also comfortable with adapting to high pressure time constrained
environments and willing to go the extra mile with overtime and shift work.
I have been an active member of Tynemouth volunteer life brigade, which is a voluntary
organisation which responds to all kinds of coastal emergency’s 24 hours a day 365 days a
year. During my time with the brigade we have visited many schools and scout groups to give
talks and information to younger people advising them of the dangers at the coast and how to
remain safe.
I am a keen rugby player. I participate in training sessions, games and fundraising events in
addition to helping with the coaching of youth teams. I also have experience of assisting in

Whilst working here I completed a course in confined space access and also a gas safety
awareness course. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at OGN as it was a mixture of team work
and tasks to be completed alone this gave me a great opportunity to demonstrate my full
range of skills.

The main focus of my role is the growth of my client base and also the responsibility of
secondary sales to maintain my client base, by identifying new business development
opportunities. I have the accountability for collecting payments and dealing with general
account enquiries.
I find the role very enjoyable as it is face to face customer contact and thrive in this
environment. Unfortunately due to reasons beyond my control the company has ceased
trading and made all employees redundant.

Perfect Homes. Relationship Manager
Working as a relationship manager within a small team, I was responsible for all accounts
that were in default and had fallen into arrears. We counselled customers and encouraged
them to arrange payment plans or in extreme cases repossession of goods.
For 7 months during 2010 I managed to live a dream of mine and played professional rugby
in Australia for Perth. Unfortunately this would cut short due to a career ending injury, I
thoroughly enjoyed my time over there as it gave me an opportunity to fulfil a dream and also
experience different cultures and way of life.
