invited Jesus into his heart to be his Lord and Saviour.

BOOK LAUNCH
EFFECTIVE PRAYER: PURSUING BREAKTHROUGHS
Are we looking for breakthroughs in our prayers? James 5:16b states, “The effective, fervent
prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Effective prayer is both communion with God and fulfilling
His kingdom purposes. When we know God’s Word, ways and will, we grow in confidence to
receive answers to our prayers. As we deepen our relationship with Him, we avail ourselves to
pray for our family, church, community and nation.
Authored by Senior Pastor Daniel Foo and co-authored by Pastor Eunice Low, Effective Prayer
presents biblical principles of how we can approach God in prayer as a Father,
relate as a Friend and appeal to Him as a Judge.
It examines some areas which hinder prayer, including sins and transgressions, and how we can
reinstate our prayer covering. It also gives us practical handles on how to pray for the lost, and
stand in the gap for our nation. Ultimately, God calls us to be righteous men and women of prayer
who pursue breakthroughs in our lives, for His glory.

EVANGELISM MADE SIMPLE
Date: November 7 (Saturday)
Time: 8am to 12.30pm
Speaker: Wallis Sultan
Venue: Chapel (Level 2)
Sharing about Jesus can be daunting for some. But it can be made simple! Join us to gain
insights on how we as Christians can reach out to our pre-believing friends or family.
There will be practical session examples that has been tested and proven
to be effective and simple for all to use!
Wallis Sultan has a passion for evangelism. Wallis rollerblades in Bishan Park regularly, reaching
out to people, bringing the lost to Jesus. Every month he leads a team to Orchard Road, to take
Jesus to the streets and pray for people. He has written a book “Evangelism Made Simple” to
multiply his work of evangelism and to start a movement of reaching out.

BBTC JOB
PORTAL
“Let us do good to all, especially to those who are
of the household of faith.” (Gal 6:10)
In the current economic climate caused by
COVID-19, there is an even greater need for us to

who have lost their jobs.
As Singapore’s economic conditions worsen,
BBTC is stepping up efforts to help members
whose jobs have been adversely affected, by
linking them to job opportunities.
BBTCians with job openings can submit them at
www.bbtc.com.sg/employers.
BBTCians looking for employment opportunities
