D0UGH-N8
BRIDGER/Net-Worker
Green Hand Gardens
M-Prove Temporary Housing
M-Prove Mental
4. Goals and Vision
Connect people around the world to improve
existing services and response to events
Establish networks of volunteers worldwide that
want to create positive change
Reduce poverty and homelessness through
personal investment, education, and assistance
Increase international communication and
philanthropy
Create advocacy worldwide for all populations
Springboard people that either want to give or
receive help to different areas or causes
5. D0UGH-N8
A charity app that allows users to be notified when disasters or events
occur and lets them donate using Venmo, PayPal, debit card, bank
account, or crypto currency
Users can select filters that are categorized by type of disaster, event, or
location
For example, a native of Mexico City living in the U.S. wants to contribute if
something happens back home
Users can set up an auto-draft that withdraws a specified amount when
an event occurs or set up a recurring auto-draft
Users have the option to specifically select what cause and type of
assistance they’d like to donate to, if information is available
Would create revenue through donations, advertising, fundraising, and
grants, potentially 5% or less from donations
D0UGH-N8 will create a network of verified volunteers around the world
whose job it is to disperse and document allocation
A compilation of local services will be created by each volunteer to create
a plan of action
News feed can document delivery and provide speed of delivery statistics
as compared to other organizations
6. Why D0UGH-N8?
In 2017, the total expenses of the Red Cross exceeded their revenue by
over $130 million
The Red Cross has kept as high as 27% of every dollar donated
It costs the Red Cross $30 to raise $100
Speed of arrival and assistance provided often don’t meet public needs
This service would improve speed of assistance, amount allocated,
delivery of impact, and could potentially lead to maximum impact and
efficiency
Allows anyone in the world to contribute directly to causes and see
documented results of their efforts
Relies on public allocation of funds rather than pooling and allocating the
perceived minimum like other charities
May lead to meaningful advances in other countries on a personal and
national level
7. BRIDGER/NetWorker
An international freelance networking service that connects capable
workers with underpaid, unanswered, or available jobs that can be
completed and submitted online
Serves as guarantor of people’s ability to provide work in different fields
Reviews and complaints for unsatisfactory work are handled by our
employees to determine eligibility
For many types of freelance work, one person’s product has little or no
variation to another’s
Allows skilled people in impoverished countries access to much higher
incomes
Raises employability of people worldwide
Fulfills available jobs and rotates users to distribute work
Creates a mutual exchange of cash flow and work completion
8. Why BRIDGER/NetWorker?
Almost all freelance sites utilize user reviews, which
can cause some users to float to the top and be more
desirable
New or international users are often turned down due
to lack of reviews
Evenly distributes or
Will create opportunities to cultivate worldwide
education and professional development
May be able to create and justify learning/work/skill
development centers for the public by sharing
performance statistics with foreign governments, who
may agree to contracts to cover and compensate
projects
9. GREEN HAND Gardens
Community and volunteer based national gardening network that creates
and facilitates neighborhood gardens where they’re needed most
Soil, tools, and materials will be donated
Agreements can be made with city departments or landowners for project
areas and water usage
The size and production of each garden is tailored to a certain servable
radius
All things grown are free and all volunteer work is welcome
Overstocked produce can be donated to homeless shelters or sold at
farmer’s markets to support the garden
Will improve the nutrition and healthy option availability of impoverished
areas
Different gardens can communicate nationally to determine need in
certain areas and connect volunteers
10. Why GREEN HAND Gardens?
Areas exist called “grocery deserts” where no
groceries stores exist due to the high theft rate
For these areas, the only available options are
fast food and gas station food
Many communities do not have collaborative and
positive activity opportunities, which would
increase community cohesion
May lead to a following that creates a health
initiative once results are documented
Creates opportunities to instill community
leadership in places that need it most
11. M-Prove Temporary Housing
Refurbishes and converts shipping containers into free homeless shelter programs
Utilizes volunteers to insulate, develop, and customize shelters
May develop a single blueprint for replication quote purposes
Permission for space granted by landowner or city
Could potentially be sustainable using water filters, solar power, and green waste
management
Stay could last anywhere from 2-5 days, in which time participants would be
assessed, searched, groomed, fed, provided supplies/clothing, and referred to
services they need
May be able to work with thrift stores to create vouchers for those in need
Participants are required to wait two weeks between admissions
Could provide nurses trying to get hours an opportunity to gain experience and help
populations in need
Has the potential to cheaply heal the issue of homelessness, improve employability,
and provide a safe haven for countless populations that need it most
12. Why M-Prove
Temporary Housing?
It is the policy of many homeless shelters to have
nightly residents stand in a single file line outside,
often for hours, minimizing their ability to utilize
their time productively
The services that most homeless shelters provide
are limited to meals, beds, and blankets for the
night only
Increases and centralizes availability of different
resources
Can gentrify communities and document public
and participant improvement
13. M-Prove Mental
Multi-bed clinics that serve serious cases in
need of long stays, a week max
Screens and assesses for mental illness,
utilizes on site volunteer, student, and paid
staff to determine need and create action
plans
Programming consists of lodging, referral, skill
training, job application assistance, and
resilience education
14. Why M-Prove Mental?
Most multi-day treatment programs charge
extremely high rates for sometimes less than
effective services
Many in need of assistance struggle to survive
while on wait lists that can last months
Links and helps participants navigate how to fulfill
their medical and living needs
With a small enough replicable model, expansion,
space availability, and development quote are
minor challenges
