September 2008 – July 2011
 Responsible for managing the maintenance department with direct responsibility for electromechanical
technicians, tool and die makers, and tooling pre setters.
 Maintained a less than one percent downtime average for all production equipment.
 Scheduled all machine preventive maintenance working closely with the production department to
minimize downtime.
 Managed the tool and die shop and supervised equipment repairs, monitored the perishable tooling
program and budgeted for tooling replacement.
 Supervised building and grounds maintenance, waste water treatment for plant operations.
 Additionally, responsible for creating and maintaining an operational budget for all areas and handled
yearly performance reviews for all direct reports.

 Performed mechanical and electrical repairs on a variety of metal forming machines using skills, which
include MIG and TIG welding, metal fabrication, plc program trouble shooting, hydraulic system trouble
shooting, and pneumatic system trouble shooting.
Maintenance Technician National Textiles, Hodges, SC
July 1997 - May 2005
 Responsibilities included maintaining a safe and productive work environment for a textile dye house.
This dye house included a large variety of equipment which was highly automated. My duties also
included fire control and prevention and emergency medical response within the plant.
