This document contains summaries of activities from a school's vegetable garden and recycling programs. Students grew vegetables from seeds and learned about the plant life cycle through hands-on gardening work. They also played games to learn counting and recycling, such as by pretending to be plants dancing in a ring while reciting rhymes about growing. Another game involved throwing nuts and moving pawns to teach counting, and included penalties for littering or bonuses for recycling.
