between different activities.
Myths about Time Management
Time managementis nothingbut common sense.I do well in school,so I must be managing
my time effectively.
It takes all the funout oflife!!!
Time management? I work betterunderpressure.
No matter what I do, I won’t have enoughtime!

Tackle Time Fillers activitiesorresourcesto use if you've got an extra fewminutesspare to fill up in a
lesson.They're a greatway to engage yourstudentswithsomethingproductive andbeneficial insteadof
wastinglessontime.
Tackle Time Wasters- they cause you to spend a lot of time doing something that is
unnecessary or does not produce any benefit.
Learn to recognize when you’re wasting time.
Decide what you need to do and can realistically do.
Learn how to say “NO” when you don’t have time.
2. Return calls at your convenience. The phone is a major time killer.
Learn to say “I can’t talk right now. I’ll get back to you.”
Wasting time is often linked to a lack of self-discipline.
Ask yourself, “Do I really need to do this or not?”

Quality may suffer.

actions.
5. Be flexible withtime assignments.Ifstudentsare observedtobe so interestedandeagerto continue
working, allow a little more time for them to complete and achieve the objectives with satisfaction.
6. Set the example by showing that you are time-conscious. They will develop the same precision
regarding time utilization.

• Ignoring the task, hoping it will go away
• Underestimating how long it will take/overestimating your abilities and resources
• Telling yourself that poor performance is okay/insisting on perfection

• Believing that repeated “minor” delays won’t hurt you
