City Director
Oversaw year of service, learning and organizing on food and education justice.
Supervised 9 fellows and a part time office administrator. Implemented local
leadership development for 9 fellows, in a train the trainer style of education.

Coordinated program delivery and data collection for a federally funded program
to evaluate a comprehensive sexuality education for youth in out-of-home care.
Chaired committee of five staff member. Facilitated collaboration and helped
train and support new staff.
Tracked and managed budget.
Recruited group homes and agencies, set up and lead meetings with agencies and
community partners. Developed and maintained these relationships.
Facilitated sexuality education classes with youth in foster care group homes.
Lead staff trainings on sexuality topics with foster parents and group home staff,
including working with sexually diverse youth.

Theater of the Oppressed techniques to support social justice work in Baltimore.

Planned and co-facilitated a 5 week course on Theater for Dialogue and Change at
the Creative Alliance.
Center for Political Research for Community Action, Chiapas 2002-2003

Fundraised, responsible for obtaining more than $50,000 through grant-writing,
a major percentage of the organizational budget.
Interpreted talks (Spanish to English) to visiting student groups and delegations
on the political, economic and social context of local indigenous movements.
Developed and taught a popular education series on globalization and
development with high school teachers in a refugee camp. Managed website.
Designed lessons and taught ESOL classes to children and young adults.

Providing strategic support in the launching of JUFJ in Baltimore. Helping design local
campaign supporting Right to Housing Alliance rent court reform campaign. Building
our local base, facilitating meetings, and assisting with local fundraising.
Red Clover Collective January 2013- Present
Collective member. Urban gardening, fruit tree care, collective house co-owner.
Moveable Feast 2005-Present
Ride for the Feast organizing committee. Ninth year as rider.
Recruit riders and organize fundraising events. Help coordinate logistics.
New American Freedom Summer Summer 2004
Volunteer organizer. Organized voter registration drive with immigrant communities in
Douglas, AZ. Organized educational events about an anti-immigrant ballot initiative.

TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS
Completed various trainings at Planned Parenthood of Maryland and online at
Planned Parenthood University on topics of sexuality, working with groups,
leading trainings, youth culture, etc.
Passed 40 hour medical interpreters training course through Cross Cultural
Communications in Fall of 2007.
