2. MY SCHOOL CENTENNIAL COLLEGE
Before 1 came to Canada,
I didn’t know any more
about this school.
However, when I have
studyed in Centennial
College for one more year,
I found many strengths of
school such as
professional training
courses, outstanding
teacher resource,
effective learning
environment etc. I like
Centennial very much
3. MY INTERNATIONAL ROOMIE
I came to Canada in 2011 by
myself and now I study at
Centennial College. I reached
an average GPA for 3.9025 out
of 4.5. But a more important
achievement for me is that I
made international roomies
here and we all the student in
Centennial College. One from
Russia, one from Korea and
one from China. It was not easy
to break through the cultural
differences and bias. But I
think it was our sincerity and
patience that helped us to
create this new family.
4. VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
I volunteered in a rest
home at last December.
During that period I worked
as an nursing assistant for
old people. Not only I
learned a lot about how to
take care of them
physically, but also I
learned, how to talk with
old people and keep a
conversation interesting. It
was an amazing
experience.
5. LANGUAGE LEARNING
Chinese is my first
language. I can speak
English fluently as the first
picture shows my English
level. Besides, I have
been learning Korean for
several years and I also
started learning French a
month ago. Language
learning is my life long
hobby. I am pretty proud
of my talent of learning
language.
6. TRAVELING—ON MY WAY
I love traveling. I took the ship to
Chongming Island by myself
when I was only 13 years old and
that was when I fell in love with
travel. I have been to many
places and I believe that travel
was a special self-reflection of
my heart. Of course, Canada is
the most charming place I have
ever been to. My next destination
is a rural small village in a
western province of China
because I already applied for
volunteering there, teaching the
local school students English for
one month next May. I am looking
forward to this special trip with
meaning.
