2. My name is Crystal Dimick and I
am twenty-eight years old. I live
in Iowa with my
fiancé, Steve, and our two
children, Melanie and Braelin. I
am currently finishing up my last
two courses for a Bachelors in
Early Childhood education. My
goals for this course are to learn
more about the many uses of
technology in the classroom.
3. This picture is of my school’s
Halloween Party and my children. I
am currently a lead four year old
preschool teacher and I have been
teaching for several years. I love the
age group I work with and I am very
happy with my current employment.
I hope with my degree I can advance
in my field. I went to the University
of Iowa right out of high school with
the pursuit of a biology degree
but, because I suffer from Crohn’s
Disease I had to leave school. After
I had children I decided to return and
pursue the education field.
4. This is a picture of my mom, my two
younger sisters, and I. Fun fact, my
youngest sister and my daughter are
the same age. My hobbies
include many things. My mom is in a
rock band and has been since before
I was born so, I love to watch live
music. I grew up next to a Ski
Resort and as soon as the snow falls
I go snowboarding. In the summer I
spend every weekend with my
children and my fiance’ in Wisconsin
camping in our travel trailer. I love
reading. I have yet to meet a book I
did not like (even textbooks) and
wish I had more time to read.
5. People who know me best would
probably have several things to
say about me. I often hear I am
very outgoing, loud, and that I
can talk to just about anyone.
My children would say I am strict
but, I am very involved and
loving. My students would say I
am silly and nice. My fiance’
would probably say I am very
stubborn and meticulous. My
friends always say I am a great
listener and that I am very loyal.
