Article I. Purpose of Policy
People play video games for different reasons. However, we the Die Hard Group believe
that there are a couple of common causes for why people play. To partake in fun, to participate in
a community, and to lay back and take a break from life. Pursuant to these beliefs, as a matter of
policy we actively prevent and take punitive measures against actions that violate the spirit of
these core values. These actions manifest in many forms; in particular cheating and overt or
excessive harassment of a player, players, or an admin cannot be tolerated.
To prevent these forms of behavior and to ensure a more pleasurable experience on our
server we have constructed a comprehensive policy to address common concerns among our
players. Among these concerns: How we process punitive measures (Article V), How you the
user can help us keep our server the great place it is by reporting violations of server policies
(Article VII), What to do if you believe that you have been incorrectly or wrongly reprimanded
(Article VI), The rights you have when playing on our server (Article III), & The disciplinary
actions we employ to discourage behavior harmful to our community (Article IV).
As a group we acknowledge that each one of our Admins are unique in their own ways
and acknowledge these differences can at times result in disparate applications of disciplinary
actions. As such in addition to addressing these concerns we intend to use this policy to establish
a universal procedure for disciplinary action. A procedure that is openly accessible both to the
user and to {DH}=Admins. this way we can ensure that everyone is treated equally. So without
further ado; we at the Die Hard Group proudly present our Policy.
Sincerely,
{DH}=Admins

Article IV. Types of Disciplinary Actions
Section 4.01 Bans: A ban is the harshest punitive measure employed on the Die Hard Server;
as such, it is only employed in extreme cases. A ban's primary attribute is the inability to rejoin
the server.
(a). Permanent Bans: Permanent Bans have no set expiration date and may last forever.
Additionally, a permanent ban has had its status changed from pending to permanent and as such
is unlikely to change.
(i). Reasons: Permanent Bans can be administered for two broad reasons cheating
and excessive disrespectful behavior. These bans are only administered after a ban pending
review has been issued.
(b). 30-minute bans: 30-minute bans will last only a short period of time. While not
nearly as serious as a permanent ban or a ban pending review, these bans should still be regarded
as a serious warning. 30 minutes after a 30-minute ban is administered a play will be allowed to
rejoin the server. However, a 30-minute ban will only be given once. If further action is required
a ban pending review will be administered.
(i). reasons: 30-minute bans can be administered for any excessive violation of
server rules. However, 30-minute bans will generally only be administered if kicking a user
failed to prove effective.
(c). Bans Pending Review: Bans pending review are the second most serious form of a
ban on the Die Hard Server. In essence the admin issuing the ban is saying he believes the user
should face a permanent ban and is requesting another admin to review the information collected
and determine if it should be elevated to a permanent ban. However, bans pending review have
no set expiration date. Ultimately, it is up to the user to assert his or her right to challenge this
ban.
(i). reasons: These bans can be given for any excessive violation of server rules;
however, these bans usually are only administered after a 30-minute ban. Exceptions to this rule
are cases of cheating and overt or excessive harassment.

Section 4.02 Kicks:
(a). Kicks to Spectate: Kicks to Spectate are the lowest level of punitive action taken on
the Die Hard Server. The player will be removed from the game and placed in spectate.
(i): reasons: These primarily serve as a warning to individuals that their conduct
violates server policy. For example a player who camps in assault tower past 2:30 may be kicked
to spectate.
(b). Kick from Server: Kicks from the server are the second lowest punitive action taken
on the Die Hard Server. A kick from the server will result in the player being removed from the
server. The player will be able to rejoin after a set amount of time. Kicks from Server serve as
the players first line of defense from being banned from the server due to violations of the server
rules. These are used as a courtesy to the player by the {DH}=Admins and are by no means
mandatory. A player who is kicked from the server should Consider this a cease and desist order
from us at the Die Hard group for the behavior that resulted in the kick.
(i): reasons: These can be used to enforce any of the server rules at
{DH}=Admins discretion.

Hey, we {DH}=Admins realize we are not perfect. I mean we are people too
{DH=CrazyCanuck is people too and sometimes we screw up -just ask {DH}=Sargarus-. So to
