I have over 30 years of experience in the railroad/transit environment. My experience has been with
manufacturers, transit authorities and operators in Boston MA, Newark NJ, Sanford FL, New Orleans LA,
Philadelphia PA, Washington DC, Chicago IL, Toronto ON, and San Jose CA. Experience includes light rail
vehicles (LRV), subway cars, commuter rail passenger coaches, Locomotives, Amtrak’s Superliner II railcars and
Amtrak’s Acela high speed rail equipment.
I have managed all aspects of fleet procurement and deployment, including specification and contractual issues,
production, delivery, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and warranty work Additionally, I have worked for
railroad operators in Both San Jose, CA and Boston MA. My most recent position was the Deputy Chief
Mechanical Officer at Keolis Commuter Services in Boston, an operation with a mechanical department workforce
of over 600 people. As District Manager of the Boston high speed rail facility, I had over 100 staff and a $4+ million
dollar budget to manage and maintain. As Deputy General Manager for Caltrain in San Jose, I had over 100 staff
and an $8+ million dollar budget to manage and maintain. Most of my experience is working with ‘State of the Art’
technologies. State of the art equipment utilizes the latest innovations on railcars in today’s markets.

• Responsible for New Fleet acceptance from MBTA Rail Vehicle Engineering to Keolis Mechanical for
Motive Power Incorporated locomotives and the Rotem coach cars.
