1. HOW TO POST RFIS

2. What you need
• Printed RFIs, historical RFI binder
• Drawing set
• Working printer
• Red pen
• Tapes
3. Step 1
• Prepare RFIs
• There is a binder for all historical RFIs
• Print recent, un-post RFIs from Prolog Manager or iBuild
• Put the RFIs in order
4. Step 2
• Markup in the drawing set
• Read the RFI, understand the problem
• Find the referred location in the drawing
• (Sometimes the RFI refers to Specs, so find the location in the Specs)
• Red cloud the location, call out and write a short description
5. Step 3
• Paste RFI on the drawing
• Shrink (41) print the RFIs
• Cut them into small pieces (leave only useful info)
• Tape them to the back of the previous page
6. Step 4
• Archive RFIs
• Write “P – (drawing # / Specs #)” on the top of each RFI
• Put them in the binder (correct order)
7. Tips
• Posting RFI will allow engineers to keep updated about
the ongoing problems, changes in scopes
• RFI should be post up to date
• Weekly posting is recommended
