the macrofauna species richness

Participated in many field research-sampling methods including the following:seine
netting, cast netting, water quality testing, sediment coring, detritus collectionand microbe
analysis, and Visual Reef Census (VRC).
A cruise on R/V Weather Bird II allowed for sample collectionwith bongo nets, Neuston
nets, Capetown dredge, Otter trawl, and CTD (conductivity,temperature, and depth). All of
these samples were analyzed in the laboratory; samples were identified down to lowest
taxonomic group.
