Qualifications Profile:Completed highest degree university offers in physics while completing coursework
in a broad range of scientific disciplines. Undergraduate research provided solid background in research
methodology and lab experience. Took rigorous courses in preparation for physics graduate school
including: Introduction to Differential Geometry, Modern Physics I and II, Electromagnetic Theory,
Mechanics, Ordinary Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Philosophy of Science. Small classes

Assisted faculty advisor Dr. Louis Nemzer in organization regaining official club status at the start of
Fall 2014 semester; expanded membership; improved administrative functions; organized events, including
at Fort Lauderdale’s Museum of Discovery and Science Black Holes: Space Warps & Time Twists’ Exhibit
which three physics faculty gave presentations; held other events in which faculty discussed physics
discoveries.

Recording Secretary:Organized the chapter's internal communication files and records, including
minutes, agendas and calendars. Served as Parliamentarian for all meetings. Created chapter's first
website. Played a key role in petitioning the International Headquarters for colony to become a fully
established Chapter. Oversaw Philanthropy, Community Service, and Scholarship committees, which
raised over $2500 for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in the 2013-14 academic year; led the chapter in
“Rebuilding Together Broward County” which helps revitalize low-income areas, and Relay for Life, which
raises money for cancer research. The Scholarship committee improved the chapter’s collective GPA to
the highest of all fraternities and sororities on NSU’s campus.
Corresponding Secretary:Organized the chapter’s external communications, including creating the
first graduate newsletter. Oversaw Graduate Relations, Social and Inter-Fraternity Council committees.
Lead planning and execution of an annual formal dinner for about 70 attendees that provides an
opportunity for graduate brothers to reconnect and celebrate the chapter's accomplishments.
FIJI Academy: Gives new chapter officers a strong foundation to dynamically and courageously lead
their chapters; Provides knowledge and leadership skills needed for effective chapter
