Intern for UCCE Sonoma County- May 2015 to August 2015
Extensive field work (200+hours) working with Coho Salmon that included collecting
and recording data in field notebook, voltage battery calibrating and readings,
electrofishing, fish tagging, fish rescues and stocking, snorkel surveys, water quality
testing, habitat typing, creek restoration projects, and GPS experience
Biology Lab Assistant
Sonoma State University – August 2015 to December 2015
Developed a system of organizing thousands of vertebrate specimens based on phylogeny
as well as recorded data on each specimen. I created specimen displays for incoming tour
groups and gave information about each specimen.

Monitored habitat for endangered Western Pond Turtles and conducted lab work of BMI
using dissecting microscopes to analyze, record, and identify specimens
