Step by step of how I created my magazine front cover for A2 Media coursework!

1. Original image

2. Slightly darken image by lowering ‘brightness’ toggle

3. Increase ‘hue’ and lower ‘saturation’

4. Increase density on ‘photo filter’.

5. Select ‘Warming Filter 01’

6. Select Channel Mixer and adjust Red, Green and Blue
filters.

7. Slightly polarize image

8. Increase scale to the ‘red’ side of colour balance.

9. Select ‘Selective colour’ option

10. Add masthead at the top of the image

11. Include magazine’s slogan, website, volume & issue number, and date to the
corners of masthead as minimal features.

12. Include sell line subheadings

13. Add sell lines

14. Add button and promotion sell line inside it.

15. Add anchorage which relates to the actress featured in magazine

16. Add barcode
