Jennifer learned to perform a variety of tasks in the stockroom at McCormick Canada. Some of these
include:
o Learning about parts usage and location within the stockroom in order to issue them quickly to
plant 'customers'
o Correct data errors in the stockroom inventory management and ordering system (Chase)
o Utilize SAP to identify order requisitioner and assist with order issue troubleshooting
. Correspond with vendors in order to gain information or to rectify order issues
o Order parts and services, using various methods, and track orders
o Receive and identify orders, notify requisitioners and put stock parts away in stockroom
o Assess and set up new parts as stockroom inventory items in the Chase application
o Assist with procuring parts and services in the event of production line breakdowns
o Assist other staff with stockroom processes and Chase application procedures
. Respond to questions and issues in regard to parts, procedures and orders
Jennifer has assumed various roles, sometimes on short notice, and is currently passing along her
knowledge to the new permanent stockroom attendant.
