BRIEFEMPLOYMENT OVERVIEW
RKDixon (GIS) (4 Years) –Operations Programmer AnalystERP-Admin DBA
Duties included administrating the ERP System and user financial rights for auditing. Analyzed, created, tested and validated
(both code functionality and user trial validation). This was written in VBA (visual basic for applications) using Microsoft Excel
“Developer” for the DQM – (Digital Quote Manager) Micro-Enabled Template. Used for the legal paperwork, promotions, and
commissions of printer and IT SoftwareConsulting Sales. This template was written from a starting front end trigger in the ERP
extension software so when the Business Executive would click print after entering their sales information the SQL Server would
review both the dynamic (always changing – current) T-SQL Database as well as the CRM database that was updated statically
or “overnight”. I re-wrote this project in a .NET environment, however, never had the chance to start validation. I helped with
SharePoint workflows using XML and E-automate Administrator (ERP Software).
Part of Large Data Conversion of T-SQL (use of Profiler) on Large Scale (RKD to GIS to XEROX)
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (3.5 Years) – Report DeveloperIT Technician
Team administrator of all company systems. Main job duties where SQL Server Programming – Queries, Views, Stored
Procedures and Functions. Also, very familiar with ODBC connections and RDP or Terminal Servers. Crystal Reports with
Crystal Server – Central Configuration Manager. Knowledge of setting up dynamic parameters. Version 8.5, 9, 10 and XI. I have
written both ASP.NET applications for automating lab processes as well as experience using Winforms, Visual Basic and Visual
Studio 2008.
Created a .NET –winform application for the blood type sorting process. (saw a problem and designed by recognizing
a very unorderly process)
Created an ASP. NET application for tubes using barcodes. From results entered in the database, I would check if the
test was a + or – and then a scanner would scan the barcode (Zebra Printer 128 reader) of the test tube. The program
would speak and say yes if the blood contained Parvo anti-bodies and no if the blood in tube did not. Worked
perfectly.
JohnDeereHealthCare(4 Years) - ComputerProgrammer
I worked extensively with ORACLE on a UNIX based platform. I developed complex stored procedures which were used
mainly for Data Quality department audits. Developed complete SQL extraction for the HAWK-I program. Advanced knowledge
with SQL and PL/SQL
Became the owner of the Quality Control scripts written in SQL, yet ran from a Unix Platform and used Oracle Scripting.
This process was very detrimental to the organization. The data warehouse for JD-Health was housed at the Deere
Operations building, which I would go over to “at times” to review.
