Don’t stress – Since MAT is one of the low difficulty MBA entrance
exams, don’t panics for exam toughness if you had prepared for the exam
like CAT, IIFT 2016 or NMAT by GMAC, tackling the MAT paper would not be
a difficulty provided you have conceptual clarity. According to experts, the
question types of MAT are direct in nature and are not complex at all. The test
takers find the difficulty level from simple to moderate.
Mock test for MAT in your chosen mode – Whether you have taken MAT
in paper pencil based mode or computer based mode, taking practice test or
mocks couple of days before the exam would make you prepared for the D Day
completely. Ensure that you take the mocks in the mode in which you have
enrolled for. Follow the procedure in the actual test day too until and unless
you find a huge surprise in the paper.
Time Management – Time duration for the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes
within which you need to attempt 200 questions from 5 sections. However, it
is a bit much that you need to attempt each question. If you allot at least 15 to
20 minutes to each segment, so you have requisite time left for revision. Do
not to attempt questions which you don't know of to escape the rage of
negative marking of ¼ marks.
Don’t attempt any new topics – At this last minute to MAT, do not start
preparing for any new topic. Neither one of the you would have the capacity to
get a handle on the topics, nor will you have the capacity to reconsider
whatever remains of the topics. Boost up your confidence by revising and
3. brushing your strengths. Indeed, even on the exam day, select those questions
which you are confident about answering accurately.
