22. CONCLUSION
• More and more membrane structures made by coated
fabrics are built as famous landmarks, due to beautiful
architectural forms and excellent artistic expressions.
With the development of science and technology,
coated fabrics have become one of the most widely
used materials in the world. PVC coated architectural
fabrics can exhibit a wide range of mechanical
properties. The deformation of such fabric materials is
a complex phenomenon that is influenced by many
factors including the type of loading, strain rate,
coating process, temperature etc. These factors are
responsible for the strength, flexibility and stability of
such polymers.
